Teenage Lottery Winner Fulfills Dying Cancer Patients Wish

A 15 year old with a rare bone cancer has his dream come true thanks to another teenager who had recently won the lottery.A teenage girl: Jane, from Edinburgh won the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle last year, and has been known for since staying down to earth. She remains living with her parents, and picking up McDonalds for her friends.

She heard about 15 year old Leon Rendle who is suffering a deadly bone cancer Ewing’s sarcoma. Leon is a huge fan of the Transformers movie franchise and desperately wanted to visit Universal Studios.

Teenage Millionaire Outplays Insurance Firms

Unfortunately with his condition no insurance firms were able to cover the visit.

Basically because his condition is so particular, so rare, and so severe any insurance requests are automatically denied in the computer system if the box for his disease happens to be ticked. This is even after Leon’s doctors cleared him for travel.

Jane upon hearing about this couldn’t understand why the firms refused to cover him.

Taking it upon herself Jane decided to foot the bill and take him herself!

“Down-to-earth Jane, now 19 – who still lives with her mum – told the Daily Record: “I was very moved when I heard about Leon and got in touch with his mum.

“I’m heartbroken for the family. The doctors say Leon is fit to travel so I don’t see what the problem is.

“I told them it didn’t matter how big or small it was, I would try and help in any way.”

They scheduled the trip so that Leon would make it back in time for the next stage of his chemotherapy.

A truly beautiful gesture from a remarkable young lady.
